I'm not a huge 'roses' person. But the house we recently moved into has huge rose bushes. And with all the rain I have to pick roses every other day. Hey, I'm not complaining. I love the fresh flowers on my windowsill. It definately puts a little kick into my day.

some ideas for those of you with kiddos

Here's some of the things I've been doing with my kids to keep them busy this month. Just some ideas if you have kiddos...

A. have your child sort all of your crayons, markers, etc... based on color or object.
B. take your child shoe shopping with you and then start to loose your mind (the latter is inevitable)
c. make the alphabet with the members of your family. Can't guarantee all members will be included in each letter. And the young ones may get bored after D or so. Pictured here is the letter E. But as you can see, Reagan has already checked out :)
D. play math sorting games with M&M's. Reagan is only learning her colors. Olivia is still learning to count. And Ellie is on addition/subtraction. But the one thing they have in common, they all love M&M's!!!

Couldn't resist the spring flowers on sale EVERYWHERE!! I just keep buying them and planting them and I still have some pots to fill. yes.

Sears likes to just lay on the floor and play with his toes. I couldn't resist posting this cute pic of him this morning.

The girls like to play with my amazing iphone... At the store or just whenever they can get their sticky little fingers on it. Sometimes I know they are playing with it, other times I figure it out because my ring tone has changed. But mostly when I plug my phone in and upload all current pictures onto my computer. It is full of pictures similar to images you might experience if you were drunk at a rave. Here's a little sampling for you... we were at target if you couldn't tell...

So I finally got around to finishing Reagan's dress. It's the project that has been looming over my head. I'm half way done with Olivia's.

I actually did this on a Monday. Monday's have not had a good track record with me for the last few weeks. But today broke the trend. It was surprisingly productive. Let's see if we can make it a weekly tradition.
